French (MFL) Father Christmas jokes

Simple descriptions of some visual Christmas jokes with gaps to fill in the perfect tense of er verbs. Follows nicely on from chapter 2 of expo 2 vert. Class can make up their own amusing pictures and descriptions.

er verbs - all you need to know

This is just a reference sheet which I supply to my year 7 after having introduced -er verbs. It is visually more interesting than most things I found on the net. It also includes my verb flower (an idea I pinched from someone else years ago!). I have large coloured verb flowers stuck on the wall of my classroom.

Mira 3 rojo module 2 school: Spanish speaking game

This is just a little board game to encourage independent learning and speaking in pairs. It is based on the 2nd module in the Mira 3 Rojo book which covers school and education. Pupils will need a dice and counters. I float round the classroom whilst they play and they use me as a referee in case of a challenge. More able pupils can also play the role of ref once they feel comfortable with the vocabulary. Get a question wrong go back 3 spaces.

A worked example of ideas in response to a stimulus card on tattoos and physical appearance. I used it for revision on how to prepare answers for the speaking examination. Can be used as a brainstorm of ideas.

Worksheet asking pupils to note down the masculine and feminine spellings of jobs. Workplaces and some translations too.
