This is a PowerPoint presentation and a simple worksheet to compliment Module 6.3 from Listos 1. It involves present tense conjugation of regular and irregular verbs and freetime activities. There are some simple gapfill exercises on the PowerPoint. I get the class to fill in the verb tables on the worksheet and then write their own sentences linked with pictures from the presentation.

This is a checklist I give to my class when they are writing or preparing passages which may later be used to create drafts for assessments. The box for controlled assessment phrases refers to the lists of useful coursework phrases from mfl Sunderland.

This is a simple presentation to illustrate narration using the perfect and imperfect tenses. I used it to supplement work from Expo 3 rouge and pupils then went off and created some PowerPoint slides of their own - some highly amusing!

This is a complete game which I edited from a template I found online. There are 5 categories and this is suitable for playing midway through the first term of learning French. The music section does not have the sound files on the actual powerpoint, but they are easy to find online and embed yourself (let me know if you find this difficult). This is a paired speaking activity which I give to pupils once we have covered er verbs and negative sentences from Expo 1. All you need is some post it notes and there is a speaking frame which may be taken away from more able pupils.

These excellent resources come from 1jour1actu.com and are aimed at French pupils from CM1 and CM2. Ideally suited for use with A2 students, they cover the topics of poverty, education (the school day), politics, the freedom of speech and equal rights for girls and boys.
