Are your students needing to improve their English word order? These worksheets and the suggested follow up activity will help with both written and spoken sentence construction. The 17 worksheets provide illustrations with words provided, in a jumbled order, for making sentences to describe the pictures. Students have the opportunity to rearrange the words and write a sentence describing what is happening in each picture. Having taught English as an Additional Language (EAL) for many years, I am only too aware of the challenges facing EAL students when doing phonic work.
