Average Rate of Return (ARR) questions & answers, specifically for the Edexcel GCSE specification. In order to help my Year 11 revise, I had a look at exam style questions they were likely to face in Paper 2. Perfect for revision or for when you introduce the topic. I have also included some notes on the pages to help guide students.
I’ve identified two types with ARR and created questions which practice the method of answering, for both styles. The booklet then gives a mix of these questions for students to answer.
Perfect for lower-middle ability students
Answers provided show working out
Same type of questions they will get in the exam
20 questions in total.
If there are any errors in my calculations (there shouldn’t be I have double checked) email me at mchughteaching@gmail.com & I’ll fix it. I would really appreciate not leaving a negative review for an easy fix, thank you.
During revision for Year 11’s Paper 2 Edexcel GCSE Business Paper, I like to ask short answer exam questions. For lower stakes and to get them thinking about developing their answers. This pack contain 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 & 2.5 3 marks questions with model answers. Also I have included finance questions for 2.4 which includes gross profit, net profit, margins & ARR. As well some questions where they look at graphs and work on those data reading skills. In total there are over 100 questions here in a easily editable format, to use as you see fit.
My model answers are written in a Point+BLT structure.
This should give you full coverage of questions for students.
