Children still do not know their 8 times table or still learning? This PowerPoint uses missing number, basic chanting and remembering plus factors to help with that. It can be use more than once too!

This lesson discusses the four seasons that are found in the northern hempisphere. It discusses key vocabulary in each season including: migration, hibernation, blossoming of nature and wildlife. There are scientific references to the earths tilt and how seasons work, as well as, some exciting animations to keep the children engaged. I have used this with my Year 5 class but it can also be used with other KS1/KS2 year groups. These sheets can be great as early morning work in conjunction to their writing in normal lessons. These resources were made alongside our Romans unit to promote the correct use of words. Homophones can also be taught and the use of a dictionary too!
