What I found useful

I am a year 2/3 teacher at a small primary school. I am adding a few resources which I found to be successful when teaching.

Partitioning two-digit numbers into different combinations

(0)
Maths - Place Value - Year 2 Two lessons which teach children to partition two-digit numbers into different combinations of tens and ones. These lessons collect evidence for the Interim Frame Grid statement for year 2 children who are working at the expected standard. Two PowerPoints and two worksheets are included. The first lesson is a practical lesson in which children use multilink to make different combinations. There is space on the sheet to collect evidence and also stick pictures of practical work. The second lesson moves onto pictorial learning. The children are required to draw what is happening and also write down their findings. Examples of final work are included as pictures on the powerpoints to model to children the expectation. *(NB. I do not own these pictures) *
