Week 1 planning for a reception class - matching my progression document. Detailed medium term plan for a reception class including the following subjects over a 6 week period: Communication and Language PSED Physical (very brief overview) Literacy Maths Understanding the World Expressive Art and Design This has been updated since last year, all C&L, literacy and maths lessons are brand new. Changes to PSED, UTW and EAD.

A CVC writing activity that children can complete as part of adult-led learning, a CP enhancement or an end of term assessment. Differentiated 3 ways to suit varying abilities within your class. At this point in the year it is hugely common to have some children writing initial sounds, some writing full CVC words and some using digraphs.
