MFL Certificates for Spanish, French and German. Please if you like them let know in the comments below so that I create and share more (for free!).
Tip! After downloading the document, you might want to use microsoft’s snipping tool. This way you could transfer the certificate onto a Powerpoint slide and add names, your own personalised bitmoji e.g. over the flag, etc.
This resource contains 40 Spanish idioms and colloquial expressions to help your students ‘sound like a native speaker’ in the lesson. It can be used in many different ways but the original idea was to create a portfolio of ‘phrases of the week’ that any Spanish teacher could bring into their lessons. Hope it is useful :)
3 Sentence Builders on the topic of holidays following Gianfranco Conti’s and Dylan Viñales’ research-based idea and learning activities. Especially aimed at teachers covering Module 1 from the VIVA 2 book. Each set of 3 lessons focuses on a particular sentence builder, with vocabulary recycling further on. I have also included QR codes and links at the end of every 2nd lessons for students to do some independent learning, leading this to a quick ‘key structure test’ at the beginning of every third lesson.
It’s the first material that I upload to TES, I’d really appreciate it if you could rate the resource/leave a comment! Gracias :)
This resource contains a variety of sentence builders used with Y11 when teaching the jobs topic: what do you do to earn money / work experience in the past / gap year
I have been setting weekly Kahoot quizzes on-line for my students while teaching remotely. Kahoot has come up with a new option that allows you to do this for free while providing some feedback about the students answers too! In order to increase motivation, the first three students on the leaguetable get a little ‘reward’, in this case, a personalised certificate.
I cannot upload the powerpoint for you to edit as the font will automatically change, however please feel free to screenshot the certificate and copy paste it into a new powerpoint for you to edit.
Hope you like it! :)
This is a fantastic resource to set up remotely for your class. The ‘escape room’ format and its interactivity makes it highly engaging for the students and I am sure it’s one of those lessons that they won’t easily forget! The resource is created using the Genially webpage.
If you download the resource, you will be provided with a link that both you and the students could use straightaway. However, you are also given the option to adapt the content and include your own images/bitmojis/etc. if you would wish to do this.
The resource is designed to be used with KS4 Spanish, but could be easily adapted to fit the needs of other year groups too. There are five tasks to complete in order to get the secret code to open the safe. Some of tasks are GCSE style type of activities that will help improve students’ knowledge on the topic of festivals in different Spanish speaking countries. Reading, listening, multiple-choice quizzes and much more!
