Coloured boxes to help children vary the position of adjectives within their sentences and construct similes effectively. Effectively used in year 1 to support learners struggling to vary sentence structure and hold sentences in their head before writing. I have found it useful to have these laminated on tables for children to use independently whilst writing.

Used effectively when laminated and stuck to tables for easy access! - handwriting booklet which gives opportunity for children to practice ensuring letters are sat on the line correctly. Booklet includes single letters as well as all y1 common exception words - display poster which fits inside an IKEA Tolsby frame displaying all the letter families, which helps children remember which letters should be the same size, as well as aiding with ensuring correct formation.
