I'm an experienced (20 years +) classroom teacher selling resources that are tried and tested in the classroom. I offer materials for GCSE & A Level Computing, OCR Creative iMedia Level 2 and OCR Cambridge Technicals Level 3. I would really appreciate it if you could leave a short review for any of my resources that you download so that I can keep making them better.

Retrieval Placemat

Retrieval resource for students, which I have used in Computing but can be used in any subject. These are designed to be used in lessons, to stimulate discussion between students and thus help them with the retrieval of learning from previous lessons. This resource is based on the the idea for retrieval placemats from Kate Jones’ excellent book “Retrieval Practice” As with all my resources, icons are from the Noun Project for which I have paid membership and thus I can use them legally without attribution (evidence can be provided if need be)

Student study / revision guide

This is a student study and revision guide for GCSE/Post 16 students. It was written with ICT and Computing in mind, but can easily be tweaked to use for other subjects (I have included an editable file along with the PDF) It has been produced with dual coding in mind The guide does not cover subject content, but is about study techniques to support learners throughout their studies, Many of the topics apply to all subjects. The guide includes sections on: Note-taking (why we take notes, the Cornell method, Outlining, Mind-mapping) Revision (How the brain works, spacing, interleaving, retrieval practice) Productivity (Getting Things Done and Pomodoro) Wellbeing (Diet, the importance of sleep, hydration, mindfulness, and digital wellbeing)
