2 lessons on the causes, effects and responses to the 2011 Japanese Tsunami.

The first part of the lesson is a general introduction to the main rivers in the world. Lesson then moves onto looking at erosion, transportation and deposition with activities for each.

Students will be introduced to 4 figure grid references and learn how to read eastings and northings. Cartoon drawing activity to put skills into practice.

A look into the causes of earthquakes. Students will also focus on the two scales that are used to measure earthquakes and decide which is most reliable and why. Storyboard activity included.

A lesson looking at the losers of the fashion industry. Students will understand how people in LEDCs suffer because of TNCs. Link to documentary included in presentation.

An independent research lesson looking at the geography of the rugby world cup.

A KS3 introduction to population pyramids. Students will also focus on how the populations of countries will change in their lifetime.
