In the News Geography Quiz 2018

This contains 2 PowerPoints containing 60 questions (mostly about world events), one multiple choice and one without. 30 questions on big news events of 2018, 10 questions one famous people who passed away in 2018, 10 questions on 2018’s sporting events and 10 questions on pop culture in 2018. An answer sheet is also included. I have used this with Yr7-Yr13, generally the multiple choice one is more accessible for the students. Feel free to chop and change, Year 7 tend to get through 40 questions in a 50min period whereas Year 11+ tend to get through everything. The lowest score for a team of 4 in Year 7 was about 50%.
