I post things that are finished and that work. I make resources when I can't find anything that works in the way which I want it to. If they don't work for you then let me know through the comments section and I'll try to put them right. If they do work and you like them then please comment too.
Some things take a long time to make and to get right... so I charge a little for those.

An active reading worksheet that contains a lot of information. Pupils read it through and then read it again to give titles to paragraphs. Then they have to read it again to sift out various bits of information. A useful literacy resource for biology. Reviews welcome.
A powerpoint that can be used as an alternative to a worksheet for the reaction of zinc and sulphuric acid. Using a little copper sulphate solution will speed it up
You can display this as a PowerPoint. If you print out two slides to a page you have a pub quiz style set of worksheets that you can use in a revision lesson.
Reviews welcome
Much has been made of our medal winners at the olympics. Here is Andrew Osagie's story. He wasn&'t even expected to qualify for the final but he did. He ran faster than the gold medal wimmers in the last three olympics, he became the fastest Briton over 800m in the last 20 years.
He finished last. Daqvid Rudesha broke the world record and all the other runners posted personal bests, season&';s best or broke national records.
Andrew finished last but it was the race of the century, he didn't give up, he used the example of the others to inspire him to a new personal best.
A photographic introduction to the island, which was created by an underwater volcano in 1963. It has remained off limits to the general public and is studied to see how weathering and erosion lead to soil formation.
The final slide can be used as a template for a weathering diagram or annotated as a class activity.
Feedback welcomed.
Multiple choice quiz with answers that give an anagram of rutherford.
The stems have strange lettering to achieve this so watch out, pupils find it difficult to get their heads round a. b. c. d. m. n. o. p.!
I made this presentation from the mark schemes of exam papers. It includes the examiners comments and notes. AQA are quite picky about getting the mechanisms just right so I went to the source, the examiners and not the texts.
This can be used as an introduction to ethene. It is designed to help students link the displayed formula, that is common in texts, to the idea of a covalent bond being a shared pair of electrons.
Comments and feedback are welcome
There is a work book and an answer sheet in the resource. Pupils can be guided through the work book although more able pupils will be able to use it as an independent study booklet. I have included answers as colleagues found them helpful.
Reviews and constructive criticism welcome
Adaptation of a very useful power point on Rates of reaction and factors affecting rates.
In its original free version it had over 60,000 downloads, so now after ten years I have put up the newest iteration and decided to charge, a little.
It is still animated in all the useful areas and contains many hidden slides that can be unmasked to aid with understanding.
Now includes recall questions as a starter and some more questions for a plenary
The pack includes a couple of useful writing frames for note taking and a set of revision questions for students to learn.

Key Stage 3, Year 7 or Year 8, Science Revision Slide Show for The Plants topic.
I use this as a homework resource initially, that pupils can work through at their own pace. I also use it in revision lessons.
The Plants Revision Power Point is written for the Exploring Science course and follows their Big Questions format.
This includes a section on investigations and will be useful for how science works.
This resource is a great starter for a GCSE Plants topic.
If you like this, leave a review, some constructive criticism or some questions.
