Perfect for a math journal!
This Numerical Expressions Tri-Fold Up will fit nicely in a math journal or as a stand alone resource. The cover of the tri-fold is intentionally upside down for easier assembly. I would recommend running just one copy to make sure it folds up properly, before running multiple copies.
Included with this product:
• A definition of what a numerical expression is as well as what it means to evaluate a numerical expression.
• Examples accompanied by a 'think aloud' script to demonstrate how to write a numerical expression from a given 'story'.
• 2-sided practice page, as well as answer key.
This set contains 24 task cards for Rounding, Comparing and Ordering Decimals. Also included is a title task card, 3 take a break cards, a student recording sheet and an answer key.
These task cards can be used for students who finish their work before the majority of the class (aka - Early Birds). In addition, these task cards could be used for independent work, centers, review, etc.
I would recommend printing task cards and answer key on white card stock and then laminating for durability.

I would recommend printing task cards and answer key on white card stock and then laminating for durability.
This product allows students to practice making customary measurement conversions. The cards can be used as flashcards or to play the classic game of “Concentration”. Students can practice the conversions by one measurement type at a time (capacity, length, weight and time) or combine a few or all for more of a challenge.
This set includes 16 capacity match-ups, 16 length match-ups, 16 time match-ups and 12 weight match-ups. Also included is a card cover page and answer keys.
Students love fold-ups!
• This three flap foldable focuses on face, vertex and edge.
A definition and a visual representation is given of each.
• This product also includes a 2-sided practice page and answer key.
Always make a test copy before copying for your students to make sure the cover and inside fold up properly. Note that the cover is intentionally upside down for easier printing. Each sheet has two foldables.
Hands-on resource for Area and Perimeter
This 2-part fold-up provides students with a basic understanding of perimeter and area.
Both area and perimeter are defined. The formula for each is given as well as an example.
This fold-up would work well in a math journal or as a stand alone resource.
When making copies, the front cover goes on one side of the paper and the inside on the other. I would recommend running a test copy to make sure it folds up properly.
Students need the basics when working with fractions.
This fold-up names the various parts of a fraction (numerator and denominator, gives the definitions and has a visual representation.
This fold-up will fit nicely in a student's math journal or as a stand alone resource. This is a two page resource: The front cover and inside. Each copy will make two fold-ups.
The cover is upside down for easier printing. I would recommend, however, that you run just one copy and make sure it folds up correctly.
A quick trim on both the bottom and the top will allow the line between the numerator and denominator to match up properly.
Students use this one page mat as an aid when making metric conversions. You can laminate several copies and make them available for student use. Or, do as I do, purchase heavy weight sheet protector sleeves ($20 for 100)and have students slip various papers inside. Using a erasable marker they can write information of the protector, erase, and reuse an unlimited number of times. Saves laminating and paper cost.
Students can refer to this handout/poster when finding the Least Common Multiple of two numbers. You can print out and distribute page to students or chose to enlarge when printing to make a poster. Note that if you chose to enlarge in the print menu, some assembly will be required.
For instructions on how to enlarge, visit my blog post:
http://mrsbsbest.blogspot.com/2012/08/making-posters.html
This packet contains 12 posters. Each poster shows a step in solving a two-digit divisor long division problem using the traditional algorithm.
A teacher may choose to use the pages as is or you may enlarge the pages to a poster size. I have taken files to a local print shop and had them enlarge with success. There is, however, a cheaper way, to achieve poster size pages from a regular printer. Directions are given on how this can be done with the product.

This product contains 7 Properties of Math Classroom Posters: Associative Property of Multiplication, Associative Property of Addition, Commutative Property of Multiplication, Commutative Property of Addition, Identity Property of Multiplication, Identity Property of Addition and Distributive Property. Each poster is labeled with the Property, has a definition and an example.
The posters are all created with the paper layout on landscape. You can run the posters on a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Or you can enlarge them. For directions on how to make larger posters read my
blog post on the subject.

Students learn about composite and prime numbers!
This fold-up gives the definitions for both Composite and Prime Numbers. It also includes an example of each. The fold-up is a half sheet two-flap resource that would fit well in a math journal or stand alone.
A second inside page option is also included. This inside has a definition for both prime and composite numbers that does not use the word divide but factor instead. I have chosen to include this second option, not because the first set of definitions was incorrect, but because some teachers may prefer using the word 'factor' instead of divide.
Also, included is a double-sided worksheet that requires students to list factors for a given number and then check if the number is composite or prime. An answer key is also included.
The Early Bird Learns!
This set contains:
• 24 task cards designed to practice multiplying fractions. Three types of fraction problems are included-- multiplying 2 pairs of fractions, multiplying a fraction and a whole number, and multiplying mixed numbers. Students should know how to multiply each type for problems mentioned above as well as be able to reduce a fraction to lowest terms and be able to change a mixed number to an improper fraction, to be successful with this set of task cards.
• Title task card.
• 3 take a break cards.
• A student recording sheet (color and black and white).
• Answer key.
I would recommend printing task cards and answer key on white card stock and then laminating for durability.
I originally created these task cards for students who finish their work before the majority of the class (aka - Early Birds). These task cards could, however, be used for independent work, centers, review, etc.
This set contains 24 task cards for finding mean, median, mode, range, maximum value and minimum value. Also included is a student recording sheet and an answer key.
I would recommend running task cards and answer key on white card stock and then laminating for durability.

This Goofy Gorilla card game allows students to practice divison patterns with multiples of 10 in the classic ‘Old Maid’ game format. In addition, the cards could be used to play the classic game of “Concentration”--just remove the “Goofy Gorilla” card.
The set contains a total of twenty-seven pairs of cards. The equation card might be 2,100 divided by 30 and the matching answer card would be 70. Also, included is the “Goofy Gorilla” card (my version of the ‘Old Maid’) and an instruction card. I also included a poster that shows the steps I teach the kids when learning how this pattern works.
Give your students the basics on calculating volume

• This product also includes a 2-sided practice page. Answer keys are provided too.
This fold-up will fit nicely in a math journal or as a stand alone resource. The cover is intentionally up-side down for easier copying. I do recommend your run a test copy to make sure everything folds up correctly.
