I created this programme for use with young people in contact with the Youth Justice Service, however I previously taught in mainstream secondary and alternative provisions and definitely feel this would be perfect for any setting. PLEASE NOTE: This version of the Drive programme is designed to meet the criteria for AQA 111105: Car Crime and Vehicle Safety Awareness (Entry Level). There is also a more detailed version of the programme that covers road safety, driving, vehicle crime and driving under the influence, plus related topics in further detail, as well as separate programmes for additional AQAs. This bundle contains the full PowerPoint needed with corresponding worksheets. Completion of all tasks will meet the criteria for the AQA Accreditation 111105. This is an assessment I created to check progress and gaps in knowledge for KS4 students of the WJEC Hospitality & Catering course The resource contains the assessment, which is printer friendly, as well as all answers in PowerPoint format to allow for whole class revision and marking PLEASE NOTE: The Food & Nutrition resources were all designed in the 2020-21 academic year when I taught this subject. I created these key word displays and laminated them for use in my classroom. They can also be used laminated as small reference cards. I tried to make the words visually appealing and creative, in order to inspire and help learners recognise key words and their definitions. These work well in a secure setting, however I have no doubt that they would also work in mainstream education. Feel free to ask any questions!

This is a very large booklet I designed for the boys I work with in a Young Offender’s Institute. The booklet can either be self-directed or taught and contains a wide range of tasks, activities and information. I have used a key to demonstrate cross-curricular pages. There are opportunities for stretch & challenge tasks, as well as a wide range of written and practical activities. I have tried to make the booklet colourful and interesting (my design side coming through). Subjects covered include: graphic design, maths, English, geography, PSHE, as well as British Values. This Stop & Search programme is designed for use with children and young people who have been / or are likely to be stopped and searched by the police. It can be used by staff in Youth Offending Teams for young people on court orders or prevention programmes, and by youth workers, Early Help and other social care officers, teachers and school staff and staff in secure settings. This programme is designed to be run in order, with key information linked to stop and search, along with relevant activities that help meet the AQA criteria. The booklet can be printed as a whole, or you have the option to print individual worksheets and to use the PowerPoint digitally. Completion of this programme can lead to ONE AQA Unit Award Scheme Accreditation. For the AQA, certain tasks must be completed. If the full Stop & Search programme is completed, with all tasks, then the linked AQA can be claimed for! I have started to create a bank of worksheets focusing on various designers / artists / illustrators. These stem from my initial design movement worksheets (also available on my account). I use these worksheets to introduce young offenders (15-18) to a range of designers and artists. These worksheets could also be left as cover, or even set as a homework task to build learner knowledge and understanding. Each worksheet has two parts, the information sheet and the corresponding worksheet. This is a resource I have created as part of my new role working as a Youth Justice Worker with young people in the community. The project covers in detail: County Lines Child Criminal Exploitation It is designed to be used in one of two ways: As a full programme / scheme of work - this can be fully printed into booklets (all pages printed) As a full programme / scheme of work - with only the worksheets printed and the rest of the pages used as PowerPoint / visuals As one off lessons / interventions - parts can be printed or used ad hoc I have included a project overview at the start, with learning outcomes and descriptions of each task. The resource is quite bulky and was created on a Mac. I have added to this resource a PDF and PowerPoint version. Due to differences in fonts, the PowerPoint version may look different when opened - hence including the PDF version as well to keep everything as designed. Please feel free to ask any questions :)
