I'm currently trialing a poem a day with my KS4 groups. I'm using structured questions and a random poem, just to get them used to dealing with poetry unseen. Here is a poem called 'Baggage', along with questions on a PP slide.

I have designed these activities for learners to revise both Language and Literature topics at the same time. There is 1 task per page.

A quick resource to use. Pin up individual slides all around the classroom, while students take the information and record it on their own 'bauble' sheet. (This is on the last slide.)

Some visual cutouts to make a display based on Dickens' A Christmas Carol. I put this up on a blue background with white at the bottom to represent snow. I then put black borders over it to make it look like a window looking out. Make this even better with gold wrappers from chocolate coins to represent Scrooge's counting house.
