Tudor Tales

Average Rating4.20
(based on 11 reviews)

I've been a teacher since 2008 and am now working towards a PhD in history with a focus on the Tudor period. I stumble across more interesting things than I can use so I am turning them into resources. I hope you find something new and interesting to add to your history lessons!

Victorian Newspaper Template - Editable

A newspaper template based on the designs of real newspapers from this period, including Victorian adverts. I’ve chosen a date from when the Great Exhibition was running so that it can tie in with this, or stories such as The Peculiars, however, this can be edited as can the price and ‘special addition’ title. There is a space at the top for a headline and you can remove or rearrange the adverts as you wish.

For LSA's to support guided reading. After reading a page/section the pupil rolls the dice. They can then either give a question to the group or the adult can create a question for them/the group. I have used this with level 2 and 3 readers in year 4.
