All worksheets and presentations and a scheme of work for seven weeks of theory and practical sessions, introducing students to animation and it's different forms. Presentations look at the different styles of animation and their pioneers. Students complete research tasks and explore examples. Each theory session leads onto practical application sessions. After practical sessions are complete, students complete weekly reviews. This unit was initially designed for teaching Level 2 UAL students but easily adaptable to other curricula, particularly BTEC, as well adaptation to higher or lower levels. Recommended Time: 6 - 8 hours per week. Recommended Resources: DSLR Cameras, Editing Software, Computers, Plastercine or modelling clay, wire, Milliput, white card, black card, scissors, charcoal, Adobe Animate/Flash.
