A Happily Ever After brings many of the well loved fairy tales together into a new story, introducing some more modern themes and twists to the original stories. Two human children find themselves magically transported into a fairytale world - the Land of Make Believe - where they discover that their favourite fairy tales are not exactly as they appear to be! With disgruntled baddies who are fed up of always losing, useless heroes and Princesses saving the day, the play brings humour into the timeless classic moral of good winning over evil, whilst challenging the usual gender roles usually found in traditional stories. This booklet is designed to give pupils an easily stored reminder of a range of grammatical terms, literary tools and punctuation information. This can be used alongside independent writing tasks, grammar tasks or simply as a revision booklet to go through from time to time. My pupils have found this incredibly helpful as they often have struggled to remember all the different concepts they have been learning about and now can just refer to this. Repeated exposure is increasing their recall of the information learned. This is more suitable for upper stages of Primary/Early Secondary level.

This play script has been based on the story of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. With loveable and well known characters, lots of fun and action, this piece is a great choice for a school or drama club production. This booklet has reminders and revision for many of the basic concepts in Maths and Numeracy, such as Place Value, Addition/Subtraction, Multiplication/Division, Time, Fractions and Weights and Measures. The purpose of the booklet is for extra reinforcement and information for those pupils who can struggle to retain the concepts and language of Maths. The booklet can be used both in school and at home to enable the pupil to have a little more autonomy whilst engaged in independent work. For example, when attempting correct layout of sums they can check the booklet to remind themselves of what to do without extra teacher input. This has proven a helpful tool for many pupils who lack confidence in maths and numeracy.

This challenge is aimed at upper level pupils. This gives pupils the opportunity to investigate, plan, develop and make a prototype of a new board game. They are then encouraged to Alpha test in their own class then roll out to the rest of the school to Beta test the product. Feedback forms for pupils to fill in are included and these are differentiated for upper and lower stages. An introductory Powerpoint, planner, worksheets and summative reflection activity are all included in this bundle as well. This is a project that all pupils thoroughly enjoy whilst developing worthwhile skills and knowledge.

This fun and easy to use board game is designed for pre school and early Primary level children. It aims to develop numeracy skills whilst allowing children the experience of playing a game independently. The game is designed on A3, so make sure your photocopier settings are correct. The Famous Inventors Project is one that aims to bring Enterprise in Education together with other curricular areas, focusing on S.T.E.A.M. The purpose of the project is for children to learn about Famous Inventors, select a famous and life changing invention to redevelop and design for use in the future then develop and run a mock business to make and market their product. The project culminates in a day of presentations and pitches, allowing the children to demonstrate their learning over the course of the project. This project not only meets many of the experiences and outcomes of the CfE/NC, but can help children develop towards the four capacities, as well as giving a real and relevant context to their learning with a perceivable goal to work towards. This fully comprehensive project pack gives an easy to use, fun and accessible project for upper stage pupils to enjoy. The document is in PDF format and contains 39 pages, including a full planner/assessment tool, teacher's notes and guidance, lesson outlines and directions as well as a set of appendices and handouts to use during the project.

This powerpoint is fully editable allowing for you to display a visual timetable each day in class using your IWB or if none available, the original slide could be printed and laminated along with each of the activity cards. Open up the PP and you can edit the date and drag the activity cards into the appropriate part of the page, then display to the pupils using the view slideshow option. This is a bright, colourful and useful way to discuss the day ahead with your class.

This powerpoint covers the most common 3D shapes, properties and related vocabulary. This is a useful tool to use when revising 3D shapes and introducing the correct terminology to use when describing/identifying shapes. This can also be used to introduce further 3D shapes following pupils previous learning in past years.
