· 30 Does Not Belong Category flash task cards with real Images. Each flash task card has 4 images - 3 different images from the same group and 1 image from a different group. Printable as 2 cards per page. For example: the task card will have images of dogs fox and giraffe, and a an image of a chair. Teacher can ask students questions such as "Which one are same ?, What are same ? Which one is different ?, What is different ?, “Which is the odd one” etc. The student needs to identify the same objects and the different object. Teacher need to ask the counter question the student on their choices with - Why are they same?, How are they same?, Why is it different?, How is it different?, etc. Student need to provide reason for their selection. What are Same-different cards?
Identifying same and different objects is a very important skill, especially for children under the Autism spectrum. kids with language problems usually have difficulty in understanding the concept of negation. This is the first step towards the understanding of “does not belong” concept.
Does Not Belong Level 1 - 20 Flash Task Cards with Real Images. On the first level, we have introduced 4 images - 3 identical images and 1 different image to make it easy for the students to differentiate the same and different objects.
Does Not Belong Level 2 - 25 Flash task cards with Real Images
As a next step, it is important for the student to generalize the images of the same object and identify the different object. In level 2, we have used 3 different images of the same object and one image of a different object. For example: a flash card will have pictures of 3 different dogs and a pigeon. The student needs to identify the “same” and “different” images.
Level 3 - 30 Category Flash task cards with Real Images
In this third level, we have used 4 images - 3 objects of same category and 1 object from a different category. For example: a flash card will have pictures of 3 animals and a food item. The student needs to identify the “same” and “different” objects by its category.

**What have we done differently?
As is our USP, we have ensured all the flash cards contain real images/photos.
It is difficult for the student to directly understand the IS TO concept. To counter this difficulty, we have created unique flash cards in which, we have first introduced a sentence describing the relationship. Next, we have followed it with the IS TO relationship. The IS TO is placed between the 2 images. The images have been named separately. This will help the student identify IS TO concept.
