This is a resource for the GCSE edexcel 9-1 curriculum.
The Powerpoint contains plenty of practice - too much for one lesson. I recommend either doing it over two lessons, or removing some of the practice material to fit one lesson.
All questions contain answers so the students can mark their work.
Any feedback would be welcome/appreciated.
Hidden slides include pages to print.
The resource is planned consistently with the Edexcel combined science 9-1 curriculum. It includes plenty of practice on using the equation speed = distance/time, as well as drawing and interpreting speed/time graphs and learning to calculate gradients.
I’d recommend that, if you plan on using my resources in the future, you insist with your children that they consistently write all the steps provided in the slides in their books for each question.
This is because the same method will be used again and again in future lessons and has proved very useful to my own students.
Covers everything needed for the CP1a lesson based on the 9-1 specification.
Plenty of AFL activities and colourful slides which are ideal for dyslexic students.
Anything to print can be found as a “hidden” slide.
Feedback welcome from anyone.
