In this unit of work you will be looking at what it means to be health physically and mentally, how to adopt a healthy lifestyle as well as what may cause a person not to be healthy. It will focus on diet, exercise, sleep and mental health. The mental health unit will discuss how to maintain general wellbeing and looking specifically at stress, anxiety and depression.

This unit of work is split into two parts.
The first part looks at British culture and its multicultural links. It will outline what is meant by culture and its components. It will also look at the migration patterns to the UK and how that has helped to shape modern British culture. The first part of the unit will also evaluate the British Values initiative and seeing how well British culture embodies these values.
In the second part of the unit you will be learning about the British political system, including the voting system, how parliaments works and the different political parties in the UK. This will culminate in a mock election for the fictional role of School President.

This is a complete SOL for the new AQA GCSE Sociology course looking at Research Methods.
Bundle includes the PowerPoints, Quiz starter activities and Student workbook.
This booklet take students through how to organise and prioritise their independent study at A Level as well as strategies for continuous study throughout thier A Level course so that they can keep control of their workload and time. The booklet uses the spaced study system which is a flexible system that breaks down independent study into managable 30-45 minute chunks (excluding lesson) and provides worksheets and suggestions of activities students can use to support their learning and revision.

This learning phase is separated into two parts. The first looks at creating a household budget and the second focuses in on Grocery shopping to a budget, which will require computer access, but could also be set as a homework task.
