A two week unit of work supporting the poem ‘Hurt No Living Thing’ by Christina Rossetti. Includes planning and resources to support the successful teaching of this unit. Uses a Talk for Writing style to learn the poem before innovating and then creating their own. Photographs on a word document are included as an example of the poem map created with the children.
