A set of 34 pictures/images of the Cold War This resource can be used in a variety of ways: Individually or in pairs, students explain the picture/image in the context of Cold War (research time can be given) . Get the students to group together based on certain criteria: . Topic e.g. Germany, Cuba, Arms Race . Dates e.g. 1950s, 1960s Students in pairs or small groups and explain how their picture/image connects with the other pictures Lay the pictures out around the classroom and ask the students to go round and contribute one piece of information on as many pictures as they can.
