Your creative faculty head with spreadsheets to help minimise work and human error. I have a keen interest in spreadsheets-- very odd indeed!

Year 9 Remembrance Day Poppy Wire Sculpture Lesson

Here’s something simple to help commemorate Remembrance Day within Art-- wire poppy sculptures. There is a linked video to help with the forming process. Seems like a big hit in my classroom right now and will form the basis for an installation down the corridor. Perfect for KS3, or ages 11-14.

A lovely powerpoint to help with setting either cover or remote working (think snow days, strike days, etc). Learning Questions: How can I describe a composition using art-specific vocabulary? How can apply David Goodsell’s technique and style to my own work? Cross-curricular links: Science, Literacy, Art, Biology

Looking for a good remote-learning resource that links to West African art? Hopefully this resource works! Lesson Questions: -Where can I source an artist that I like? -How can I apply my artist’s style and technique in my own artwork? This resource helps to ensure that West African art is seen in a contemporary sphere, instead of a monolithic presentation of African masks.

A-Level Marksheet (Fine Art and Photo)

I have created an A-Level marksheet for both Components 1 & 2 that is fully automated, including creating an overall mark. The grade boundaries are the 2022 AQA ones, but I am more than happy to adapt the marksheet for you to fit your course. If you wanted something like a 5% buffer or anything like that, I can also set that up. Please message me.

Budget Planning Tool

An automated budget planning spreadsheet-- easy to use and clear! If you’re looking for an automated spreadsheet to help you organise your budget across the school year, hopefully this Excel spreadsheet is what you need. I’ve been using this tool over the course of several years and it’s helped me plan out when to order, how much I have left at any point in the year-- all excellent for saving for big ticket items (last year, it was a printing press!) I’ve formatted this to work with my school’s online ordering system (PSF), however, the columns should work for most other platforms. If you need this adapted for a particular system, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

This resource is a nice introduction to one- and two-point perspective. Note that this can be used for either a cover class, perhaps a non-specialist, or even remote learning. Once downloaded, it is fully customisable and also includes embedded links to YouTube tutorials for each technique.

Food KS3 Level Descriptors 1-4+ Labels

A great resource if you wanted to have a level ladder on the inside of your workbooks. These level descriptors can be printed on a large label to clear identify how to move up. Students are introduced to GCSE assessment criteria terminology and subject matter, filtering down needed knowledge. This template is editable on publisher if you wanted to customise it to fit with your SoWs. It’s also a tickbox, so students can identify individual criteria to help with student voice and verbal understanding.
