When the three sounds of the word have been collected the word is blended, read and then spelt. This game develops phonemic awareness, reading and spelling skills.

Topic 6 Multisensory Assimilation NCH Game “Pinch A Bunch O Flowers For Lunch” is a word building game where players have to collect sound units to make /nch/ words. Each sound unit is colour coded to help with the reading and spelling of these /nch/ words. Some of the words included in the game are lunch, munch, crunch, punch, winch, drench and bench.

Topic 8 Multisensory Vowel Digraphs /OR/ Game “Score On The Horse Race” is a spelling game to practise the basic /or/ words and also more difficult words including morning, report, inform, platform, record, forty, northern, sporty and score.

Topic 4 Multisensory Assimilation ND Game “Stand On Your Hands” is a game to reinforce the short vowel sounds and the assimilation /nd/ sound. Players need to be aware of the different sound units in a word and which vowel to use to make a correct word.

Topic 5 Multisensory Assimilation NG Game Two games are included, firstly “How Long Is A Length Of String” which reinforces the /ng/ sound. The second game is “How Long Is A Length Of String & Drink” where players have to be able to discriminate between /nk/ and /ng/. Words are made using /ng/ and /nk/ and these then have to be written on one of two spelling sheets with the same sound.
