This resource contains everything you need for a fun fitness based circuit for Key Stage 1 pupils. It's your PE slot and it's raining again and you have 30 excited children and only the hall to do PE...Your prayers are answered with this resource! It contains an attractive pupil record card, picture cards to inspire your children and help them with each activity and a full instruction guide for teachers and full resource list. Everything you need to have a great PE lesson...and in fact a whole term's PE lessons! This isn't resource heavy and you won't need a great deal of space to accommodate 32 children in this activity. This activity is centred around a celebrity sporting challenge. 5 celebrities go head to head in a series of sporting challenges; swimming in porridge, running in treacle, welly throwing and jumping wearing flippers. Who will prevail? Use your maths knowledge and logic skills to work out who is crowned the overall champion! This resource should keep even the brightest mathematicians quiet for a good hour! Here is everything you need to create a really fun fitness circuit in a small space. An ideal resource of those wet PE lessons when all you have is the hall available. This resource includes an individual pupil record sheet for a circuit of activities I’ve called the 'Boot Camp’ Circuit. It includes 9 different stations, each has a description of the activity and an equipment list. We have a small hall and this can be set out with limited space. I’ve included a floor plan. This could cater for up to 36 pupils with 2 pairs of pupils completing each of the 9 activities one at a time! I’ve also added picture cards which can be put at each station, and to encourage reading skills they each contain a brief description of each activity. This resource contains loads of useful resources for promoting skipping in your school - either on the school playground or as part of a PE lesson. It includes instructions for how children can perform complex single, partner, group and long rope skips, includes a handy pupil record card to motivate and encourage your children to test and challenge themselves and even has some useful places to purchase ropes for your school. This resource has been developed to support the ‘Skipping Workshops’ National Skipping Challenge and is a tried and tested resource - having been downloaded now over 400 times.
