This is a script that has been performed successfully by primary school aged children with adults, but can be performed by high school age and above. It’s 1 hour without an interval but has been written as two 30 minute Acts. Including the music adds about 10 minutes on each Act.
The lines are suitable for children to learn (in our performance Oliver and Dodger were 8 years old) and has a suitable ending for a children’s production.
The cover picture gives you an idea of costume and staging. I have had media consents to use this picture.
This is a 10 minute medley that I have edited and produced. It would be great for a school performance or an assembly activity. The songs included (in order) are: The greatest show, Million Dreams, This is Me and Come Alive. There are 3 files to this resource:
The Song Sheet the lyrics are in two colours, Black for solo singing parts that can be split to suit your group and Blue for the ensemble parts.
The Medley MP3 This is a medley arranged by myself, it is a backing track but the original singers remain for the ensemble parts just to give the kids a bit of help.
The Medley with singing MP3 I have recorded the song with vocals to show where the solo parts come in.
I performed this medley with KS1 and Lower KS2 children. I split the solo parts into 3-4 lines each child, either alone or in little groups. They had no trouble learning their parts and the added ensemble vocals gave the volume needed for the big chorus parts.
Please leave a review and happy singing!
This is a 30 minute play based on a pirate who becomes famous for fighting plastic pollution. Written and produced with lower and upper key stage 2 children, who managed the lines and stage directions well. I have adapted the play with current themes and there’s a host of characters who explain how plastic effects their lives in terms which can be understood from foundation stage. There are other themes including friendship and ‘being kind’ as well as a catchy recycle song. I give permission for character genders to be changed to suit your cast.
This is a tried and tested Script, created for a after school drama club. It was performed and filmed by a mixture of Lower and Upper KS2 children and uploaded onto the school’s website.
It would be perfect for an ICT, Drama Club or PSHE project. It also highlights ‘first days’ and transition along with sibling and peer relationships.
It has an appropriate ending to promote ‘doing the right thing’ and forgiveness
I give permission for the names and genders to be changed to suit the group performing.

Inspired by the popular baby shark song, this engaging movement activity will help children with expressive arts, relationships and movement. It is a tried and tested activity with a group ranging from 4 to 12 years. The music is not included but can be sourced easily. Would work well for a KS1 P.E lesson, icebreaker or an early introduction to choreographed dance.
This is a good warm up game. It encourages the children to move, follow instructions and use senses. The game is brightly printed and could be displayed. Please leave a review and check out my pack of 5 games for £3.99
