I am a secondly school teacher with an interest in doing assemblies. My aim is to help teachers deliver high quality talks in a short time. To help teachers with this I have produced a package of resources for assemblies. Teachers can start off by watching a video of the assembly to see if it is suitable. If they like the look of it they can use the slides which they can edit to suit their own audience. There is also a script, both a full length and bullet point version. The slides themselves contain many pictures that help retain the pupil’s attention. In addition the pictures act as a prompt for the teacher delivering the talk.
