This is a 2 week cycle that leads up to a child’s independent write of a setting description of Narnia. Week 1 consists of a WAGOLL, a comparison of setting descriptions where children can form their own style that they want to emulate, speaking and listening opportunities as well as links to visual literacy. Each lesson has a quick SPaG or spelling activity as we near to SATs to continue our practice. Week 2 reviews speech and how it is punctuated, relative clauses, figurative language, adverbials and layered planning. All resources come with the download and the ppt has notes to help with the understanding of the lesson.
