Low threshold, high ceiling problem solving task based on weight of dragon eggs. Taught to Year 1 /2 class but can be adapted for older more able pupils. Open ended challenges for pupils to find all possible solutions for the dragon eggs to balance a scale with 10 cubes on the other side. Each egg balances the scale with a different number of cubes. Pupils must find all possible answers varying colours of eggs and amounts to balance the scale.
