A series of lessons on using trigonometry in right angled triangles to solve problems.
Lesson was originally designed for a top set year 9 class so goes from very basic through to more difficult problems involving application of the rules. There are many activities included at the start / throughout / end of the powerpoint to be used when appropriate.
These lessons are combination of my own / adapted from other TES users / worksheets. If you would like me to remove anything please let me know.
A series of lessons introducing Vectors and the notation surrounding this. The aim of the lessons is to deepen students thinking about Vectors introduce the ideas around parallel and perpendicular vectors and finding resultants.
There is some Vectors with Geometry questions at the end which are not very difficult.
Pupils would need to go on and attempt exam style questions are this series of lessons.

A lesson which begins with pupils discovering Pi through measuring circular objects.
I have uploaded the worksheet with the examples of objects I used and space for an additional cylinder.
This then leads into finding the circumference and area of a circle.
A lesson on Volume of 3D Shapes, starting with cuboids and progressing up to triangular prisms and cylinders. There are activities built in which support the lessons. In addition to this, there is a worksheet to help support pupils who need more practice on the topic.
Questions are all provided within the powerpoint and some are taken from Tristan Jones excellent worksheets he provides on TES (see below).

A lesson with questions on solving equations with fractions.
This lesson starts from the beginning with no prior knowledge of fractions and moves up to solving simple algebraic fractions.
Designed for a middle ability year 9 class.
Please let me know what you think and if you edit the slides, upload and share the resource.
A lesson on reflection aimed at a low ability Y9 group.
The worksheet is heavily scaffolded and provides lots of practice of reflecting shapes in horizontal and vertical lines.
The plenary activity involves reflecting in diagonal lines also.
