This task was used with post 16 learners with SEND on an employability course. The task is designed to aid learners understand the need to budget and save money to achieve future goals (such as purchasing a car). The task also focuses on reading comprehension alongside numeracy as learners must comprehend the information before planning a budget. As a teacher of post-16 SEND I have found many resources are not age-appropriate so I have made lots of my own.
