This is a practice with gustar type verbs in the present tense. Verbs included: gustar, encantar, aburrir, preocupar, importar, fascinar There are four sections with 8 questions in every section. Each section is separated by indirect object pronouns. Section 1: te, Section 2: le, Section 3: nos, and Section 4: les Prior to the practice, notes are provided on the formula for gustar verbs along with a list of prepositional phrases (a mi, a ti etc) and indirect object pronouns. Pages 1 - 4: Practice with 32 questions total formatted for students to write answers Pages 5 - 6: Same 32 questions (no space for student responses) which teachers can use for oral practice, if desired.

La papelería school shopping activity Carmen is about to start the school year. She needs to buy school supplies including a new backpack. Her parents have given her $55 only and she cannot ask for any more money. Carmen is looking at two office supply stores in her town and comparing prices on school supplies she will need. Carmen is taking 6 classes. Compare the prices of the two stores below and for each class, write 2 school supplies that Carmen would need for that class, the quantity, name of the store, and the amount. Also, Carmen will be paying 5 percent sales tax. It is perfectly acceptable to spend less than $55 and have money left over. Students will be given a list of items sold at two different stores and their prices. A template for school supplies, where to buy, quantity needed, and the amount is also provided for each of the 6 classes. Students can do this activity individually or in pairs. Length: 2 pages
