Lesson 3: Islam in the Medieval Ages: Importance of Jerusalem This is the third in a series of lessons focusing on the Golden Age of Islam. This topic will be looking at the importance of Islam throughout history, ending with study of the Crusades. This has been developed for KS3 students in mind, but could be adapted for KS2 or even KS4 students.
