In 2001, I graduated from The University of Birmingham with a BSc Hons. Degree in Chemistry with Business Studies, and a PGCE. I continued to be interested in pedagogy and have completed a number of in situ research regarding assessment for learning and teaching practical skills to SEN students. I am an advocate of the affective use of ICT to improve teaching and learning, being a competent user of a number of brands of IWB and enjoy using data logggers in my science teaching. I also write science text books and ICT materials for use in secondary science.
