A collection of photos of myself from various visits to the hairdresser. Hopefully they will be of use to teachers teaching English as a foreign language, talking about daily life, or for vocational studies. I will add more photos over time but feel free to use these for student projects and presentations of for talks on the human body and how we change over time.

A collection of photos that I am putting together as I row my boat around the entire coast of Great Britain. I plan to take a lot of photos of foods from around the coast and country, from lava bread in Wales to Haggis in Scotland, and Jellied eels in London. So check back on this resource as it grows.
I hope it will be of interest to students with English as a Foreign Language and for students studying tourism or wanting to know more about traditional and favourite foods in Britain.

I am curating this collection for students to use in projects and presentations about forensics, police, crimes, and for creative projects about detectives and who dunnits.
As part of my preparation for my expedition rowing my boat solo around the coast of Britain, I had to write a will and plan what would happen to my educational charity Oceans Project after my death. I thought these photos might be of use to other teachers out there teaching about business or discussing what happens when we die. So I am including them in case you ever need a photo for presentation purposes.

A collection of photos of the village of Grasmere in the Lake District. The village is a popular place for tourists, and is the former home and place where the poet William Wordsworth is buried. It is also famous for it's secret recipe gingerbread. Students may wish to use these photos as part of projects or presentations or to explore the village through pictures.

A collection of photos from Capernwray dive centre in Carnforth, Lancashire. The disused quarry is now popular with swimmers (especially training for triathalon and English Channel swims) and scuba divers throughout the year, as well as having changing facilities and a restaurant.
Feel free to use these photos with your students as part of your geography lesson on the benefits of quarries as places for leisure and recreation.

A collection of resources focused on the country of Georgia where I lived and taught for a number of years. Ideal for geography lessons, and for photos for things like markets, foods, theatre, churches, and talks about settlements and geology.
When you live on a remote British island, the only way to get there is by ship or by plane. This means that islanders take flights much like you probably take a bus, and where you jump in a car, we jump in our plane. There is no hospital, maternity unit, dentist, optician, or physiotherapist on the island so we have to fly for just about everything...even if we die and need to get cremated! Here are some photos from my own flights over the English Channel and between the Channel Islands. See if you can spot the lighthouse and World War Two bunkers below.
