I drew this colouring page of Autumn leaves I found at Rydal Water in the Lake District for my students to colour in as part of our module on seasons, habitats, life cycle, and tourism in the Lake District.
An augmented reality version of this page is available in the published book on Amazon. This will allow students to colour in the picture and then see it on their smartphone or tablet computer, along with further details from the National Curriculum.

For hundreds of years, all across Britain, people have traditionally added coins to certain trees, in the belief that the tree spirits of the forest would bring them good luck. But be sure to never remove any coin from a tree, because this will bring a curse upon you!!
I will be putting together this collection of photos as I encounter money trees on my row around the coast of Great Britain. But one of the best places to find such a tree, is on the Coffin Route between Rydal Water and the village of Grasmere in the Lake District.
