This is a curriculum booklet I put together to cover chemistry of the atmosphere.We were limited for time. The booklet includes four lessons: 1). The Earth’s early atmosphere 2). The evolution of the atmosphere 3). Greenhouse gases 4). Climate change and pollutants I have tried to be concise and provide key knowledge in a sensible way. There are a few interesting demonstrations (I have put video links in just in case you are not familiar with them). I hope this is useful.

I produced this booklet to be used with KS3 in our school to introduce them to the key concepts in astronomy and cosmology. The booklet has retrieval questions at the start of each lesson (we leave 6 blank for the teacher to fill in so they can tailor their assessment for learning to their own classes), scaffolded questions and learning checks. It is meant to be ambitious and encourage students to develop their vocabulary. Hopefully it will be useful for some people and save planning.
