This was a business plan project I created to get my learners thinking about setting up their own company, things they would need to be aware of and research they would have to complete. I spread this out over several weeks, completing an hour lesson at a time, beginning with a talk on the subject, then allow the students to complete their research and fill in the appropriate page. This can be printed out or completed electronically to save trees!

This PowerPoint also includes activities for learners to think about their own challenges and mindset. It introduces the idea of a Challenge Mindset and traits of resilient people.

This is a lesson on Relationships, covering: Identify the qualities of healthy and unhealthy relationships What to do if you find yourself in an abusive relationship, What to do if someone you care about is in an abusive relationship. This can be used as a two page A4 handout or can be cut to be stuck in an A5 sketchbook. Students can mix colours using the colour wheel, investigate warm and cool colours, practice tonal mark making and investigate grades of pencils.

Here are 90 different cards with various subjects to either use as warm up exercises, projects, or to get passed the ‘creative block’. Of the 90 cards, 27 are coloured orange. This is so the learner can take one blue card with a subject, and one orange card with a visual element or style to focus on for a stretch or challenge activity. Both orange and blue cards can be used on their own to produce work around that word, subject, visual element or style.
