This is a 10-15 minute assembly to celebrate and explain My Money Week in June 2022. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Year 7-13) as a whole school assembly or tutor time resource. It is also suitable for PSHE & Citizenship sessions. This is a 10-15 minute assembly about World Hunger Day, specifically in 2022 but could easily be adapted for other years. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grades 6-12) and includes a point of reflection/discussion activity at the end that could easily be lengthened with planning an activity if you wanted it to last for a 60-90 minute lesson instead. It was used as an assembly for the whole school Ages 11-18 and was received very well by the students. This session fits into the Citizenship and PSHE curriculum but also covers SMSC, History, Geography and Fundamental British Values. Students reacted very well to this as an assembly and many interesting discussions came from it. This is a two document package. One is a two sided powerpoint giving 60 PSHE tasks for students to do to keep themselves occupied and to learn about some important issues. This was originally used as a resource for when students were in lockdown at home but has been revamped as a resource with 18 tasks for pupils isolating or alternatives for students if they are pulled out of a PSHE lesson for any reason. There is also some mindfulness colouring in case students are struggling with an issue and just need some time out. There are also some links included to Oak Academy lessons that can be done as home learning. You will get both documents here in case you prefer one to the other or need both for the same purposes as I am using them. Suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and many students have commented about how much they learnt and enjoyed these activities.

This is a weekly plan for PSHE in tutor time on a Thursday next year. It cover PSHE and Citizenship topics and also cover areas of Finance Education, Careers, Character Education, SMSC and FBV. Some of these sessions are available as PowerPoints from my shop. This is a planning document which you may find useful to adapt rather than starting from scratch. This is in addition to PSHE days and other ways of covering all the strands across the new RSE & Health Curriculum. This is a plan for Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly on online abuse. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grades 6-12) and is great for an assembly or a tutor time PSHE or Personal Development session. It covers: Link to FIFAs online abuse campaign Definition of online abuse Actions that are considered abuse A short downloaded video clip about the 9 protected characteristics which will never disappear Reasons why online abuse is unacceptable What students should do if they experience online abuse (change the logo to your local police force) A short downloaded video clip with a case study about how online abuse made a young person feel Points to remember Finishing slide It is a fully narrated assembly but this can easily be changed by deleting the icon on each slide. This presentation was as a result of online abuse happening within the school community and it was a very effective presentation for the whole school. This is a 10-15 minute assembly about being an entrepreneur. It is suitable as an assembly, a tutor time PSHE, Citizenship or Careers session and offers a snapshot of entrepreneurship. It covers: Definitions of entrepreneur What personal qualities you need Thinking task about the advantages and disadvantages of this career A video about qualities of an entrepreneur A video about how to be an entrepreneur There are discussion questions but no written tasks. The videos are downloaded so will never disappear. This can fit into Careers Education, the new RSE & Health Curriculum, the PSHE & Citizenship curriculum and SMSC and FBV. Students received this session very well and interesting discussions came out of it.

This is a 15 minute tutor time PSHE session about budgeting. It was originally designed for a Year 7 PSHE tutor time session but it can be used as an assembly or easily lengthened for a whole lesson. It is suitable for Ages 11-16 (Years 7-11, KS3-KS4, Grades 6-10). It includes: Definitions of budgeting, current account, overdraft Why budgeting is so important to learn about for now and for the future Outgoings for adults Two downloaded videos which will never disappear Thinking and discussion tasks This fits into the Financial Capability section of the PSHE curriculum and can be used for any whole school session for finance.

This PowerPoint assembly is fully narrated and covers some guidance for KS3-KS5 pupils about respecting their local community. This is particularly relevant for July 2021 as it goes through the easing of the lockdown restrictions in the UK. It can also be used as a more general tutor time session for PSHE on how to show respect and be kind to others. It includes two videos and two discussion questions at the end. It is 12 minutes in length as a narrated PPoint and then it leaves a few minutes to discuss how they think they can help the local community in the lead up to the Euros, the easing of restrictions and the summer holidays.

This is a 15-20 minute assembly about avoiding debt and saving money. This is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and can be used as part of the Finance Education curriculum, PSHE & Citizenship and as a tutor time whole school assembly. It covers: Why it is best to avoid debt How can they avoid debt A video about creating a budget A video about saving money A discussion task as a quick plenary. Both videos are downloaded so will never disappear and there are no written activities. This can easily be lengthened to last a whole lesson or be used as whole school resource to teach students about avoiding debt. Students responded very well to this session.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly for Race Equality Week 2022. It is suitable for ages 11-18 (KS3-KS5, Ages 11-18). It contains: An explanation of what Race Equality Week is This year’s theme (2022) The aim of Race Equality Week A video about Race Equality Week - downloaded so it will never disappear Ways we can show our support A link to get further information A video introducing theprotected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010 - downloaded so it will never disappear Discussion tasks at the end for class debate It is fully narrated although this is easy to change by deleting the icon on each slide if you would prefer it without narration. This fits into the PSHE & Citizenship curriculum, the new RSE & Health Curriculum and is suitable for an assembly or tutor time session.

This is a 15 minute end of year assembly which could last up to 30 minutes. You can use the script if you need to narrate the PowerPoint or deliver it in-person. This assembly has some videos of hope embedded, some key points of the year, how to stay safe this summer and prepare for the upcoming year. This was originally a 15 minute assembly to Year 10 but can be used for any years from 7-13 (Ages 11-18). You can add some rewards on the end specific to your group or use just this to save yourself some time at the end of the year.

This is a 10-15 minute session about domestic abuse suitable for PSHE, tutor time, assemblies or as a longer unit on domestic abuse in a PSHE lesson. It includes sources of support, types of abuse, definitions, key information, downloaded videos and has a plenary quiz. This was originally planned for Year 9 during tutor time but can be used throughout KS3 - KS5 (Years 7-13, Ages 11-18). It is linked to the new RSE and Health Curriculum and can also be used to complement the Keeping Safe in Education guidance. This has been received well by students and has taught them how to seek help if needed.

This session is a 10-15 minute PSHE session that can be used as an assembly or as a tutor time whole school pastoral focus. It outlines definitions, the law, issues that arise, tips to help delay sex and sources of support. This has a downloaded video and includes discussion activities, information, where to get support and a plenary quiz. There are no written activities but this can be easily lengthened for a whole PSHE lesson. This is suitable for KS4 and KS5 students (Years 10-13, Ages 14-18) and links to the new RSE and Health Curriculum.

This is a 15 minute session about the Plymouth attack in August 2021. It sums up what happened and introduces what the term incel means and what they believe. It has a downloaded news clip and discussion activities about gun laws. It also connects with Fundamental British Values and the UN Rights of a Child. There is no written activities, it was originally produced for a Citizenship tutor time session in September with KS3 - KS5 (Ages 11-18 Yrs 7-13). This is suitable for a whole school secondary audience as an introduction to incel culture and the tragic event in Plymouth over the Summer holidays.

This is a 15 minute tutor time session or assembly covering the mental health issue of clinical depression. It was originally a Yr 10 PSHE session for tutor time but can be used for all of KS3-KS5, Ages 11-18, Years 7-13. It contains strategies to cope, definitions, a slide of support groups to help students and some discussion activities. It contains a downloaded video clip so it will never disappear. This fits in with the new RSHE curriculum, Keeping Children Safe in Education and the PSHE curriculum.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly for Children in Need suitable for all year groups from Year 5 - Year 13 (KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5, Ages 9-18) and can be used for an assembly, tutor time session, whole school, PSHE or Citizenship session. It can easily be lengthened by changing the discussion activities to written ones for it to last a whole lesson. There is a short youtube clip which is downloaded so it will never disappear. It is narrated but you can delete this by clicking on the icon and pressing delete. It covers what Children in Need is, who it helps, how and why to help. It also shows the connection with a slide on Fundamental British Values, the UN Rights of a Child and a point of Reflection. There are links to the news and other extension activities looking at quotes which teachers can use or students can have as an extension activity on an online platform or for homework. This was originally designed as a citizenship tutor time session for KS3, KS4 and KS5 for 19th November 2021. **100% of the money I receive for this resource will go straight to the Children in Need appeal. **
