My students love I Spy games, so I created these short vowel CVC word practice sheets. All 5 short vowels (a, e, i, o, u) are included. Students read each CVC word and then find and color the picture to match.

This game is ideal for any class who have studied An Inspector Calls as a text and need to revise what they have learnt for a test or exam. This is a fun project that takes about 20-30 minutes per book, designed for kids Pre-K - 1st. Students learn a new consonant digraph each book by coloring pictures containing the targeted digraph and tracing over the letters as they occur in words. I am always trying to think of different ways for my students to learn different skills since we know our students learn differently. The digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh, and ph) are included. Students will look at the picture, then color in the digraph that they hear. These can be used as practice, morning work, homework, or assessments.
