KS2/3 - This works really well with my classes as it gets them switched on and ready to write! Especially my boys classes. Short task to assign different attributes to create a mythical creature - students put up their hands to A,B,C,D and get different movements, powers, looks etc. Sound effects on four slides (students love this). Teacher model of strong poem and descriptive writing which can be analysed as a class. List of success criteria. Peer assessment.
