To my knowledge the use of the Red-shift equation tested in the penultimate question is only examined in the IGCSE Edexcel syllabus in paper 2. The worksheet is suitable for students who study higher tier and Paper 2 of the IGCSE Edexcel syllabus. The questions in the worksheet excluding the penultimate question are appropriate for students of all UK GCSE specifications : AQA, OCR 21st Century, OCR Gateway, Eduquas and Edexcel.

Can be used for AQA or other GCSE/IGCSE Specifications The quiz cards can be used for a competitive quiz where the students pit their wits against each other. This is a fun way to revise the waves topic once complete. The teacher can expect the students to work from memory/text books or possibly even computers/mobile phones depending on ability and resources available. The teacher is provided with Instructions, Quiz Cards than can be printed off and laminated so they can be used over. I still have some of the cards that I printed 12 years ago for a similar task! The quiz should take 20-30 minutes and then as the plenary the students could all make a revision summary of the topic for a further 15-20 minutes.
