I work almost full time, we may as well call it full time, as a teacher of German and French in the school I went to many years ago. Prior to this I spent 18 years at another comprehensive in the same county. Spent several years pre-motherhood as a pastoral leader but still love being in the classroom - really love to get the kids out of their seats as much as possible. Was trained by Susan Halliwell at UEA where I did my degree and still see the main function of languages as teaching a skill to communicate. Am involved in CPD programme delivered across whole staff.
