Hi! Have a look at my resources for a range of different subjects, these can be bought as a one off lesson plan including resources or whole unit/term plans including resources and teaching aids. All lessons and resources are aimed at primary age, mainly Year 3 and 4 however can be adapted accordingly. Any questions, please ask :) thanks x

Week 1 - To understand what is classes as a living thing.
Week 2 - To can recognise that living things can be grouped in a variety of ways.
Week 3 - To can explore a variety of living things that are in our local area.
Week 4 - To can create a guide to identify what living things are in my local area.
Week 5 - To can explore and use classification keys to help to group a variety of different living things.
Week 6 - To can recognise that environments can change.
Week 7 - To can recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things.
Forces and Magnet plan, should last approx. 4 weeks. The plan is fully differentiated for each lesson. Originally planned for Year 3 however could be adapted for other year groups.
Week 1 - Prior Knowledge and Understand pushes and pulls
Week 2 - Know that magnetic force acts at a distance and group objects based on if they are attracted to a magnet or not.
Week 3 - Compare how things move on different surfaces
Week 4 - Predicting whether magnets will attract or repel.
Earth and Space plan, should last approx. 6 weeks, covering objectives on the NC as well as a range of working scientifically objectives The plan is fully differentiated for each lesson. Originally planned for Year 5 however could be adapted for other year groups. Also included are all relevant resources.
Week 1 - Concept cartoon assessment- prior knowledge
Week 2 - To describe the sun, Earth and moon as approximately spherical bodies.
To use scientific evidence that has been used to support or refute ideas or arguments
Week 3 - To describe the movement of the Earth and other planets relative to the sun in the solar system.
To describe the Sun, Earth and Moon as approximately spherical bodies.
To take measurements, using a range of equipment, with increasing accuracy and precision, taking repeat readings when appropriate
Week 4 - To describe the movement of the Earth and other planets relative to the sun in the solar system.
To describe the Sun, Earth and Moon as approximately spherical bodies.
To record data of increasing complexity using tables, scatter graphs, bar and line graphs
Week 5 - To use the idea of the Earth’s rotation to explain day and night and the apparent movement of the sun across the sky
Week 6 - Repetition of concept cartoon for assessment purposes
Sound plan, should last approx. 8 weeks, covering all objectives on the NC as well as a range of working scientifically objectives The plan is fully differentiated for each lesson. Week 3 - To identify how sounds are made, associating some of them with something vibrating.
Week 4 - To identify how sounds are made, associating some of them with something vibrating.
To find patterns between the volume of a sound and the strength of the vibrations that produced it (input – drama).
Week 5 -To recognise patterns between the volume of a sound and the strength of the vibrations that produced it (starter).
To find patterns between the pitch of a sound and features of the object that produced it.
Week 6/7 -To recognise that vibrations from sounds travel through a medium to the ear.
To investigate the best method to sound proof an alarm clock.
Week 8 - Repetition of concept cartoon for assessment purposes
