A 8 lesson plan based on the Ancient Greeks and their influence on the western world. This plan was initially planned and delivered to Year 4 however could be adapted for other year groups. As well as teaching children about the Ancient Greeks, some lessons link to how they influenced the western world as well as including ‘going deeper’ questions for all abilities. Included is: plan and all resources, differentiated as required.

Andy Warhol Pop Art Plan
Should last approx. 6 weeks, covering objectives on the NC for Art.
Originally planned for Year 6 however could be adapted for other year groups. Also included are all relevant resources.

NC Objectives - To use black and white to make different tones of one colour.

Week 4 - Mixing paint and using the blotted line technique to create logos.

Living things and their habitats plan, should last approx. 7 weeks, covering all objectives on the NC as well as a range of working scientifically objectives. The plan is fully differentiated for each lesson. Originally planned for Year 4 however could be adapted for other year groups.

Week 3 - To can explore a variety of living things that are in our local area.

A 4 day plan based on the book ‘The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs’ focusing on persuasive writing ending with an independent writing assessment. Initially planned for Year 3 but could be adapted. Included are powerpoint teaching aids, differentiated activities and plan.

Year 4 Guided Reading plan based on the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. 30 lessons with differentiated activity ideas, all lessons last around 30/45 minutes. Can be purchased with resources included.
An outstanding maths lesson based on coordinates that was delivered as an observation lesson. Included is a detailed differentiated plan, differentiated resources, teaching powerpoint and additional challenge activities.
LA - Identifying and plotting positions on a 2D grid
MA - As LA as well as identifying positions in relation to other positions on the grid.
HA - plotting specific points on a grid to draw polygons in a ‘crack the code’ style activity.
A 3 day plan on recount writing - best used to recount a recent trip. Initially planned for Year 3 but could easily be adapted. Included are detailed powerpoints to aid teaching, differentiated activities and plan.
15 session guided reading plan based on the book ‘Room 13’ by Robert Swindells.
Initially planned for Year 6 however could be easily adapted to support other year groups.
The plan focuses on comprehension questions, vocabulary, summaries and predictions.

This plan includes a range of activities focusing on sentence structure and enables children to write their own historical story at the end.
