We put this up in each of the Biology classrooms to help with revision. We gave the students the revision mats for Cambridge which can be found on TES and a CGP book. The papers could be accessed online. The names of the students were added in the top row. When the students completed an activity and showed their teacher, they were able to add a tick or a star to that activity. It was a great way to see which students had completed revision or not. The top section was for those doing co-ordinated science (foundation or higher) and the second section is for those doing separate sciences.

I made this tracker to help my students plan the topics for revision between Feb half term and the exam. We use educake but you could change the middle column to another tool/revision activity you use. We have given one to each of the students and they need to tick off all three by their lesson on Monday morning for the previous week. It could also be used electronically.

A revision mat/grid which covers the basics of homeostasis

This resource is the first lesson in a scheme of learning on Energy for KS3/KS2 students. It covers the different types of energy. It should be a 40minute to 1 hour lesson depending on your students. A powerpoint, video and two resource sheets are included.
