Thank You Ma’m First Reading. This powerpoint is designed to go alongside your first reading of the text. There are some pre-reading activities and linguistic prompts for the first annotation. Key themes are also introduced. It ends with a ‘hot seating’ activity which encourages students to empathise with the characters and interrogate their motivations.
Thank You Ma’m Revision and Storyboard. This powerpoint is designed to revise the story, key moments, key quotations and key themes. Students will create a detailed storyboard of the story. There is a peer assessment checklist included.
