Scientific Method Interactive Notebook The Scientific Method Interactive Notebook Section has a lot (39 PAGES) to offer! Before using Interactive Science Notebooks, my students got lost in writing and not comprehending the science. The INBs allow the students to keep a neat, interactive, functional, and yes; a fun notebook. Nutrition: Food and Nutrients SCAVENGER HUNT! This is a FUN way for students to learn this vocabulary. Students may start at any of the prepared scavenger stations. The definition of the word to be found will be found in the middle of the page. The student will write down the definition and find the corresponding word. The student will then search for the answer on another station’s sheet. The answer of each station will be recorded in sequence. The student will also record the number or letter found in the corresponding box. This is very teacher friendly. - The scavenger hunt come with a quick check phrase for easy grading! Matter SCAVENGER HUNT! Students learn key vocabulary while having fun! This is a Great way to get your students out of their chairs and on their feet. Students read definitions of vocabulary terms associated with Matter from the scavenger hunt posters that are hanging on the classroom walls. The students then find the corresponding vocabulary term on another scavenger hunt poster. As the students find the answers, they record the answers on the pre made record sheet. Matter "I Have, Who Has" is a great activity to build vocabulary based on matter. This activity includes X35 "I Have, Who Has" statements. Use this with your entire class as review to get all of your students to participate. -35 different "I Have" statements -35 different "Who Has" statements Directions for Use: 1. Print out all of the cards. 2. Cut out each of the 35 cards. 3. Give each student in your class 1 card. 4. Any student may start the activity by asking their “who has” portion of the card. 5. The students will then assess whether they have the answer to the “who has”. 6. Because we have included 35 cards, the teacher may have to answer for the extra cards. (The teacher may opt to simply remove some cards from the activity.)
